Roman K. Ayvazyan

Author of these fabulous works of art Roman K. Aivazian was born in Tbilisi in 1960. He started drawing from early childhood. He first graduated from Tbilisi Art College, then continued his studies at a well-known Tbilisi artist and teacher Irina Grigorjevna Fedosova, who was his mentor and accomplice in profession. Roman Ayvazyan considers her to be his main teacher. His studio was already in Moscow at the Academy of Fine Arts. In the Roman academy Aivazian had a reputation for bright individuality with his own ready writing style, bold and powerful hand. More than 200 works by the Roman artist, graphic artist, sculptor Aivazian have been spread all over the world, to private collections and galleries.

Selen is an ancient deity - demon, son of Hermes. He loves ugliness as much as beauty, he likes to provoke and subvert values. He has no claim to leadership among other gods, he is also a bit bored in Olympus. He enjoys observing human beings. He is multifaceted in combination of good and evil, vice and joy, he gives us a deep and luminous palette of the senses in his image. With a dark smile Selen is playing with us, human beings, and leaving our world - planet Earth - in her hands ...
