1st Click Art painting competition
March 14, 2015
The first Click Art painting competition was a real bet, the unknown factor of an event of such importance worried us a lot, especially because we had only opened the center for one month! Instead it was an unexpected success, both from the point of view of participation, and from the point of view of the interest and participation of the public that filled the gallery with new people interested in the works. The winner of the competition was Daniela Carcano, who enchanted the public with her work "GIOIA". The runner-up was Bruno Cavestro, with the work "LA CADUTA DEGLI ANGELI" a charismatic work with a hypnotic charm.
1st Click Art photography competition
28 March 2015
The first Click Art photography contest was another successful bet. Started immediately after the 1st painting competition, we thought that artists and the public dropped a little, instead it was better than before, our competition was a real success, the artists exhibited works of remarkable quality, and the public perceived everything this, by participating in large numbers, and not only during the inauguration! The winner of the competition was Andrea Colombo, with his work "FIORE", a wonderful and poetic manipulation of Polaroid, while in second place was Lilly Gagli, with his work "VITE SOSPESE".
Personal exhibition of Luigi Riva "MEMORIES"
25 April 2015
Luigi Riva, self-taught photographer, has been shooting for over fifty years, his photographs are "memories", just like the title of his exhibition. Shots that bring the visitor back to a Milan that no longer exists. Luigi Riva, not only photographs his city, but also glimpses, landscapes, trees, which seem to emerge from mists or "sun" benches that Riva takes up in his poetics. Riva's photographs are printed on wood, on cardboard, on porous materials. In his dark room, he has been experimenting and delighting for years, and the result is visible!

Personal exhibition of MARIO VERGANI
FROM THE OLD TOWN TO METAPHYSICAL DISCOVERY
23 May 2015
Inauguration of Mario Vergani's exhibition, "From the old city to metaphysical discovery"
Hours: 17.00
Free admission
Saturday 23 May 2015 at 5.00 pm the Click Art Cultural Artistic Center inaugurates the personal exhibition of Mario Vergani in the historic center of Cormano, in via Dall'Occo 1, among courtyards, courtyards and buildings from the 1600s.
It is always difficult to talk about Art, or worse still to write about Art, whatever it is, the words that at the time of pronouncing them meant something to us, once said they suddenly empty, become conceptual, often absurd, almost always useless; in front of a work by Mario Vergani, then, this burning sensation intensifies so much that we feel the sense of a profanation. Those desolate silences, barely enlivened by a few notes of subtle musicality, often a few splashes of color scattered with elaborate wisdom, despite their firm imperturbability, are of such lightness, of such disarming candor as to induce us to reflect on the words in a meditated and calm contemplation . There were not a few painters who were fascinated by the mystery of silence, who trapped it in the narrow space of things, who used it to make the best known things unknown to us, Vergani, on the contrary, seems not to care about all this, so much is the concept of space and silence is rooted in him precisely as a disposition of mind, pure feeling, poetry. There is therefore nothing conceptual about him, no search for the effect, no forbidden dream, but pure and simple transposition on the canvas of what is inherent in him. His very attachment to nature, and to life, filtered through years of serene meditations, his manipulations of it for an ever greater adherence to his inner needs are the most sincere and irrefutable testimony of his vocation. As a Lombard painter, his palette is also Lombard, the colors are clear, opaque, often chalky, they are treated with wise carelessness, with infinite love as if he himself feared to break that subtle spell that as the painting takes the desired shape, is released around.
The event is sponsored by the municipality of Cormano. The Mayor of Cormano Tatiana Cocca, and the councilor for culture Fabrizio Vangelista, will be present at the event.

Solo exhibition of Daniela Carcano
"LIGHTS AND SHADOWS"
Inauguration of Daniela Carcano's solo exhibition,
"Lights and shadows"
Hours: 17.00
Free admission
Saturday 6 June 2015 at 5.00 pm the Click Art Cultural Artistic Center inaugurates the personal exhibition of Daniela Carcano, in the historic center of Cormano, in via Dall'Occo 1, among courtyards, courtyards and buildings from the 1600s. I met Daniela Carcano during the inauguration of the 1st painting competition organized by the Click Art cultural and artistic center. It was love at first sight! His works made with a skilful hand, transmit joy, happiness, love, sensuality, but also restlessness, fears and anxieties, which are not his, but that only those who have the gift of representation are able to transmit. His works look like photographs, but after a first careful glance, whoever looks at his works, realizes that the contrasts are much more and that black and white expertly spread on the canvas, glue the viewer to the work itself, it is difficult to remove the look from two eyes that stare at you through a door, or from those hands that seem to come out of the canvas. The incredible thing is that Daniela Carcano is not a hyper-realistic painter, but she has added something more, and this "something" is her energy, which shines through in every work, which seems to have been made with a few brushstrokes, but which in reality has a precise and consistent study of it. Daniela is inspired by characters, portraits from magazine covers or old photos, enriched by her pictorial gesture. His canvases are not only in black and white, but some works feature metallic colors, silver and gold, or bright greens. Daniela Carcano's painting deserves to be known and appreciated by everyone, and we can do this on Saturday 6 June 2015 at 5.00 pm at the inauguration of her personal
"Lucie Ombre", shows that she was awarded by winning the 1st prize

Personal exhibition of Clara Luminoso
ONLY WATER
Inauguration of Clara Luminoso's solo exhibition
"Of Water Only"
Hours: 17.00
Free admission
On Saturday 20 June 2015 at 5.00 pm the Click Art Cultural Art Center inaugurates the solo exhibition of Clara Luminoso, in the historic center of Cormano, in via Dall'Occo 1, among courtyards, courtyards and buildings from the 1600s. Very young Milanese painter, Clara Bright, he approaches painting through art therapy, chromatography and calligraphy. For Clara Luminoso, painting is not only aesthetic, but a process, where even the movement of her body is part of the work itself. Body and soul dance on the canvas as if dreaming of a world that for Clara is life, gesture, color.
The waters of Clara Luminoso seem like stormy, energetic waters, full of life, emotions, sensations, which magically with her pictorial gesture and not only, she manages to convey to the user of the work.
Clearly Clara is inspired by nature, water, sometimes it can be the sea with its stormy waves full of strength and energy, but also stagnant waters, full of peace, or energetic rivers, or even small streams. In short, for Clara Luminoso the importance of water as a bearer of life is the central pivot of her research.
The first time I saw his large canvases that he wisely realizes, the first desire was to dive inside, and I believe that for Clara, it is the achievement of her purpose, that is to create spaces where anyone who has the sensitivity to "feel "His thought, may find his own personal interior world.
I don't want to dwell too much on aesthetically appealing big words, because Clara's work is simple, clean, elegant, just like her.
I was lucky enough to meet Clara a short time ago, but her almost disarming positive energy involved me just like an energetic wave of the sea that creates everything and destroys everything, with the sole intention of creating new life.
The painting of Clara Luminoso deserves to be known and appreciated by everyone, and we can do this on Saturday 20 June 2015 at 5.00 pm at the inauguration of her solo show "Of only water".
Given the great success, the exhibition was extended until Sunday 26 July 2015

Until the arrival of photography, the art of painting was the only way to portray a face, a landscape, or a building. But immediately after the invention of photography, artists found themselves faced with something new: the blank canvas.
The blank canvas is scary. From the moment it was decided to explore something new, giving birth to movements of expression, reflection and innovation that went beyond centuries-old traditions, the artists began to create paintings that portrayed something more than the reality that lay before their eyes. Among the various most famous artistic movements such as Dadaism, Cubism, Futurism, Expressionism etc. we find that of impressionism, from which the trend of abstractionism was born. Abstract art, in any of its forms, does not portray what the eyes or other senses can perceive. A beautiful landscape can tell a story, just as a beautiful portrait can tell us a lot about the person depicted, but neither of the two paintings can give us a representation of our innermost perceptions, hopes and dreams that we place in what we are observing. Abstract art and informal art deals with us as individuals, with the understanding and knowledge of our being: it tells about strength and fragility, beauty and horror, light and darkness. These profound concepts push us to look further. In abstract art we use a symbolic language, an unconscious and instinctive way of telling things. In this exhibition "Color and Matter" we can benefit from these researches, these profound thoughts, the result of hard work and inner research.

Although the division of photography between documentation and artistic research is a false problem, the two areas are not so easily separable, since information and documentation photography is already in itself a form of artistic expression. Photography is a means of communication and information, but it is also fun and personal research. The artists who participate in the international photography exhibition "Lights and Shadows", sponsored by the municipality of Cormano, have a very important role in today's society, that is to interpret the world in a personal and imaginative, sometimes fantastic, world that surrounds us. We have been bombarded for decades by more or less famous images, works that have made history, but today in a world context that has evolved quickly and so quickly, photography is no longer interpreted by the viewer, but told by those who make it. proposes as absolute truth. But the events are more and more complicated and the changes of the language and the technological innovations, weigh heavily on the creation. The fact is that photography remains a more or less realistic two-dimensional representation of the world. In the shots of these artists, we can see and admire the vision that everyone has of photography, and makes it available to the user, so that those who observe the image have the feeling and probably the certainty of imagining and building a new world without the imposition of anyone. The role of photography in contemporary society, in my personal opinion, should be this: to give new and fantastic adventures. Today we can say that photography, despite the presence of television, telematics and social networks, is experiencing a period of affirmation as perhaps only in its nineteenth-century golden age.

The term Digital Art, or Computer Art, indicates the forms of art processed in digital form. The term is usually reserved for art that has been modified in a non-trivial way through a computer. Computer art was born in 1950 thanks to the experimentation of Ben Laposky (USA) and Manfred Frank (Germany), two mathematicians and programmers, not artists, but with artistic sensibilities that however go towards graphics. B. Laposky and M. Frank refer to the constructivism and rationalism of the Bauhaus. Digital art can be generated completely by computers, as for fractals, or taken from other sources, such as scanning a photograph or an image drawn with the aid of vector graphics software, using a mouse or a graphics tablet. . The availability and popularity of photo editing and image manipulation software has resulted in a large and creative library of highly edited images that have little or nothing to do with the original images. Using electronic versions of brushes, filters and enlargements, these "Cyber artists" produce images not obtainable through conventional photographic tools. Additionally, digital artists can manipulate scans of drawings, paintings, collages or lithographs, or use the above-mentioned techniques in combination. Digital art is often mistreated, precisely because art is thought of as an artisanal, manual production, while digital art is created by means of a PC. This suggests that the whole computer does; but how can we not consider art a mental and technical process, which guides us through fantasy images, to non-existent places, to optical illusions and pure fantasy? The works exhibited in the gallery tell us stories, places, but also truths and realities that are difficult to reproduce without the use of a PC.

Inauguration of Enzo Malazzi's personal exhibition of Digital Art
"Reworking and Metamorphosis"
Hours: 17.00

Saturday 28 November 2015 at 5.00 pm the Click Art Cultural Artistic Center inaugurates the personal exhibition of Enzo Malazzi, in the historic center of Cormano, in via Dall'Occo 1, among courtyards, courtyards and buildings of the 1600s.
Enzo Malazzi was born in Milan, where he lives and works, he graduated in the mid-eighties, at the Higher Art Institute of the Sforzesco Castle in Milan, a pupil of the masters Grigoni, Reggiani and Timoncini.
Enzo Malazzi began his artistic career with engraving techniques: etching and lithography, without however neglecting the use of the pencil. His research took place in the field of the figurative. Later, with the use of computers and “software”, which he uses daily in his profession, they made him discover the first forms of image processing. In a short time, Malazzi replaced traditional media with graphics, video and “bitmap” programs. Thanks to the spread and the ever better quality of the software, his choice has become definitive. All his works are printed on "FineArt" paper using certified inks and paper. The works of Enzo Malazzi are compositions, which inevitably seem conditioned by the environment that surrounds him. Looking at his works, it seems to witness a collage of real objects that, like an archaeologist, he searches and catalogs. His works are made through the use of photographs made by himself, which he wisely re-elaborates by varying the proportions of the image, until he finds those details that help him "build" his compositions. Looking at his works, we catapult ourselves into an imaginary and fantastic world, where we come into contact with unknown life forms, surreal and fantastic landscapes, where a kind of metamorphosis seems to be taking place, it seems to witness a transformation of an inanimate object, or gears, or even in metal structures, in a supernatural transformation of a living being, or again to a functional and structural modification of an animal in the passage from the larval to the adult stage, or to the creation of a new form of life.
Enzo Malazzi's works deserve to be known and appreciated by everyone, and we can do this on Saturday 28 November 2015 at 5.00 pm at the inauguration of his personal “Reworking and Metamorphosis”.
Personal exhibition of Luigi Profeta
"Anima et Lumen"
Inauguration of a personal exhibition of painting and photography
"Soul and Lumen"
Hours: 17.30
Free admission
Saturday 12 December 2015 at 5.30 pm the Click Art Cultural Artistic Center inaugurates the personal exhibition of
Luigi Profeta, in the historic center of Cormano, in via Dall'Occo 1, among courtyards, courtyards and buildings from the 1600s.
The artistic season of the Click Art Artistic Cultural Center was full of events and successes, surpassing the best forecasts, with an extraordinary participation of the public, of new small and great artists, therefore we conclude this year with a solo exhibition of the artist Luigi Prophet called "Anima et Lumen" which collects pictorial, photographic and sculptural works of the Cormanese artist.
To travel you need to be nostalgic for something "(Susanna Tamaro)
It is from this sentence that I would start to describe the sensations I had when looking at the photographs of Luigi Profeta for the first time.
Sensations that go beyond time, surrounding with nostalgia, the real one, the one linked to memories, the one that takes you back to the past and that taking you by the hand leads you on a journey made of dreams, memories and sometimes blurred hopes.
The wonder of these photographic shots is that in each photo you can read a story, places of a past memory, which become places of a present, where old walls, old doors, seem to give voice to the present, while plays of light and shadow enclose fantastic, unrecognizable and unrepeatable worlds.
The prodigy of L. Profeta lies in reviving those abandoned places, deserted places, full of loneliness, places marked by ancient and who knows what unlikely sufferings, which magically become speaking places before our eyes.
Writing this text, for a moment I had the sensation of contradicting myself, how can places so far away appear so close? How can such abandoned and suffering places generate nostalgia?
Prophet with these shots invites us to take a journey within ourselves, made of nostalgia and amazement, a journey within spaces that still belong to us since we are not isolated individuals but part of a whole, what has been is . This is the mystery of his artistic creation, Luigi Profeta, nor is he a teacher and creator.
In his pictorial works, Luigi Profeta's experimentation is built on clear geometries and polymaterial surfaces, which divide the space through shapes with precise contours, marked by a specific color or motif. The colors that appear in these works are strong, incisive, in many cases combined with metal plates. His composing is always calibrated, ordered and rational - even when the spaces appear full of thread-like tangles - based on the dialectic between different shapes and substances, on the alternation of geometric shapes (cubes, parallelepipeds, spheres) that emerge in bas-relief and surfaces. flat and monochrome, on which textile elements often play in contrast. Prophet reveals constructive wisdom in the combinations, giving rise to tensions between order and chaos, between instinct and reason, where even words and numbers become the symbolic traces of a laborious and introspective path, which is revealed in the explicitly narrative testimony of his titles. The forms in which his artistic path is declined are reminiscent of the primary architectures of certain toy constructions, even if here nothing suggests a playful intent, much less the discovery of a lost time. It is rather a reconnaissance on the origins of form, and on the purity of Euclidean geometries, explored as a primary source of understanding of the rules that govern the forces of nature, and therefore also as the utopia of a regulatory apparatus on which to order human behavior. Starting from this datum, it becomes clear, on the metaphorical level of the existential warning, the meaning of these works and the communicative potential of their message: the geometric reason that translates into form, material and color, is the Ariadne's thread capable of evade the pitfalls of the labyrinths of the unconscious. Luigi Profeta's works deserve to be known and appreciated by everyone, and we can do this on Saturday 12 December 2015 at 5.30 pm at the inauguration of his personal “Anima et Lumen” at the Click Art contemporary art gallery.
